Stopped into a local store this morning, they had 7 Bolt Cutter's on the shelf. $22.99 a bottle with no limit. If anyone wants some let me know, I can try and help you out.

Landed one in Indy today as well. The $29.99 price tag seems high considering what everyone outside of this market is seeing it priced at. I still paid it though. I'm nervous to see what Cherry will be if it hits this area.

They didn't change the pricing then. I can say that the cost for retailers went up a whole $60 per case for Coffee and Cherry has the same cost. That explains everyone charging $20+.

It will/should be the same. They have the same case cost.

So then you are saying that Indianapolis distribution has hiked your cost up substantially more then other markets. Based on what I've read it seems Chicago wasn't hit as hard with distribution price hikes. Granted the beer is at their doorsteps. Again not complaining just curious why there is such a large discrepancy in prices. I know it's what market will bear and what we are willing to pay. I'm glad I was able to get a bottle and it would have cost me more to trade and ship I suppose.

Feel lucky, our distributor is not going to get any by all accounts. Rumors are they didn't even know it was coming out. I am awful fed up with Working distribution for years they have ignored craft beer and still are.

No, all pricing should be relatively the same across all markets. Certain stores are gouging and others haven't realized the price changes so are selling them near or below cost.

Big John isn't out yet. Nightstalker should've made it to a few accounts in Indianapolis Friday. It is limited this year.

I was able to find Bolt Cutter in Fort Wayne on November 21 - haven't seen it since. No Bourbon County Coffee or Cherry here yet. I'm hoping to find some gems on December 12.

That rumor is correct (they didn't know anything about it) and I was even told directly by the head of said distributor that "Evansville just isn't a strong enough craft area for us."

Where does this leave Tin Man? If our area is weak, will they jump on and help the new kid? What at their benchmarks for proof of market?

While I admit, there are peobably 10 cases of the big guys going out the door while I pick my 4 or 6 pk, there's usually at least one other person grabbing something from the micro stuff.
