Flying into FT Worth then driving to Indianapolis/Avon area tomorrow.....where is the best place to get craft beer from that area (area meaning local or the neighboring states)
Not sure what's over there, but since you're driving through, just take Keystone south to Kahn's, and then you can cut over to Avon. Otherwise you'll likely find a decent enough selection at most any Crown, Payless or Big Red you happen to pass by.
What @psykosis said. When you are in Avon there is a restaurant called Bagger Daves that usually has 2-3 3 Floyds beers available and some local stuff. They also have pretty good burgers. I live in Avon so send me a BM with your plans and I might be able to meet up for a beer.
I've heard that the Crown Liquors in Avon can sometimes be a good spot to buy from. I've never personally gone there, but it's probably worth a shot.
Like everyone said, kahns is awesome. The big red liquors on Pennsylvania in downtown Indy sometimes has some rare gems lying around. If u want amazing beer that can't distribute yet, hit up black acre in Irvington. I love that place! Everything there is solid at worst and excellent at best. Get some growlers while you're there and thank me later
