    Hey All,

I did search the forum but didn't find something that was a pointed as what I am looking for. I would like to find a brewery/bar that has a full lineup of eats in which the menu is kid friendly (going to be there with my teenage daughter for a basketball tournament).

Would love to have great beer but the food end of it is more important. On a very tight schedule. Would be hitting up tomorrow for dinner and a beer or two.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

    Cheers,
    Scot

The first place that comes to mind for me might be Hopcat in Broad Ripple. You may know it from other cities around the midwest. A craft beer bar with a huge tap list, including tons of local stuff. Its definitely kid friendly. It would be convenient if you'll be near the north side of town.

    Here's their food menu:

    Address: 6280 North College Ave

No local breweries jumped out at me as being great options for your specific needs. Other folks might have some additional suggestions.

Taxman would be a good choice but unless you'll be on the south side, it could be a hike.

What part of town will you be in?

Taxman is what I would say too, but that will be far out the way of the tournament is on the north side.

I like the food at Big Lug. The Nashville hot chicken is delicious. Beer there is above par too.

Brugge in Broad Ripple is good too. The mussels and frites are very good.

Upland on the north side does a good job too. Food and beer are good, not great.

I'm also a sucker for the Broad Ripple Brew Pub. I like heavy English fare though. I was there Monday and the ESB is on point right now. I love that style personally.

My daughter loves the pizza at Three Wise Men. It isn't my favorite place, but I end up there semi-often for a beer a pizza.

My kids love the food and atmosphere at Redemption Aleworks in the northeast. A lot of tater tot app type dishes. Plus free games to occupy the kids.

We will be driving through Indianapolis with the kids and are looking to stop at a brewery for lunch and a flight. We don't want to stray more than 10 minutes from I70 and I69. It looks like we have a few options. I'm thinking Redemption might be our best bet, but if anyone has a particular favorite I'd definitely appreciate suggestions.
