One place that is not far from the airport is Brewlink in Plainfield. They make some pretty good beer. I know Black Swan is over there too, but haven't heard great things about them.

Ok I was only in Indy once and I stopped by daredevil was good they had no NEIPAs when I was there last summer though but solid beers from top to bottom and loved their IPA.

Side note you have to go to pearl street pizzeria and pub I had a great time there and the pizza was very very good. They also had a really nice tap list at the time.

It stayed pretty rainy the whole time I was there so I didn't venture out too far due to that. Ended up grabbing lunch at The Library. That was pretty disappointing beer wise. Only had one local craft, Sun King - Wee Mac, on draft. I was staying at the Wyndham and the hotel bar/restaurant/lounge did surprise. They had 12 beers on tap with 3 local beers. Tried them all of course. Busted Knuckle - Quaff On, Daredevil - Lift Off and Fountain Square - Preacher's Daughter. Lift Off was my favorite. I was expecting it to taste old since it was in a hotel but did taste pretty fresh.

I was hoping to grab some beers at a nearby gas station (Speedway I think it was) but apparently you guys have some law that only certain stations can carry beer and the ones that do have to stock them in an unrefrigerated area. At least that's what someone told me. I walked into the "Beer Den" cooler and it was filled with all soft drinks, waters, etc. Ended up finding beer on the shelf but it was Bud Light, Bud, Coors, etc. Needless to say I left empty handed and just grabbed drafts from the bar during the stay.

Gas stations & grocery stores can't legally sell cold beer in Indiana. So, I think because of that, just about all gas stations only have domestics since thats what most of the clientele that goes in there for beer buy. If you come back and are in that area, there are some good stores (I believe a couple of Crown Liquors) in Avon, which isn't too far of a distance from there.
