I was the 1st person that responded and made him an offer for all 4 and we were discussing a location to meet and he didn't want take take less than his amount and as I was responding that I'd pay the full amount for all 5 bottles he mentioned that the BVDL had been sold right out from under me. I should have just paid the $120 and been done but oh well.

The banter on that group sapped my will to live. I quit it and my wrists remained intact and unbandaged. A Facebook miracle!

The Indy group is what you want it to be... Don't expect any in depth/mind blowing discussions, but if you would like to meet some local people that share some of the same interests as you then it isn't a bad group. I've made several new friends and have been to a few nice bottle shares over the past 16 months of the group's existence that I would have missed without the group. We try to keep the group between 325-400 people, and I would say 125-140 stay active monthly. We usually cut the members back that haven't been active after 4 months. Everyone is at a different level of craft beer. Some have been at it for 10 years and others have been at it for 10 days. At the end of the day...It's just a Facebook Group about beer...I understand that some of you will not get anything out of the group, but I know a lot of people have learned a ton from the group and they are thankful. You can't keep 400 people happy at all times that come from different backgrounds, lifestyles, etc.
    Cheers guys!
