I will be making my annual pilgrimage to Indy this weekend and would love some recommendations on some good IPA/IIPA's that I should target that I may not be able to get my hands on here in Omaha.
As far as local stuff goes: Sun King has Bitch'n Camaro (imperial rye IPA) on right now in their tap room for growler fills. Really good. Triton's Railsplitter is probably my favorite IPA in the city--you can find bottles of it around, or they also do growlers. Flat 12 has Half Cycle. It's unique, but very popular. Again, bottles and growlers. (Edit: It's a pale ale [not India or Imperial], but give Walkabout from Flat 12 a shot too. Freaking delicious.) For stuff distro'd here: I'm having a serious love affair with Fat Head's Headhunter right now. That should get you started.
Stock up on anything and everything Flat 12 and you will be just fine. Grab some cans of Sun King Osiris as well, its by far their best offering IMO.Also obviously Alpha King/Arctic panzer/Dreadnaught if you can find them. Headhunter is a good suggestion as well.
I like that there haven't been any assholes who post a link to previous threads that have answered this question. *cough* (Chicago). You should seek out lift off ipa and ripcord dipa from daredevil. You should also make your way to Twenty Tap, Brugge, macnivens, etc. Last weekend ball and biscuit had king Henry bottles for $24, you might see if they still have some. Good luck!
