    i'm pretty sure i'm 3/4. after reading that yesterday's was pavement, after looking at it for most of the day, i literally just punched my desk and yelled "dammit!" at work.

    my office neighbor came to see if everything was ok.

    no it is not. i should have known that.

    I'm 1/4 at having seen these artists in concert.

    I got a chance to see Elliott Smith twice.
    Last day of 1999 (NYC, Knitting Factory) and first day of 2000 (NJ, Maxwells).

    I'd expect a few other people out there have seen at least one of these artists in concert?

    I saw the Pixies several years ago on their reunion tour...soooo good.
    I missed out on the recent Pavement reunion tho :slight_frown:

    I saw Pixies on the reunion tour! The sound was incredible. But then again maybe I've just been to too many tiny clubs where the sound is atrocious. It's either a bass-driven train wreck, or they push the levels as hard as they can, hoping we'll be too preoccupied with the fact that our ears are bleeding to notice that they can't mix. But yeah, Pixies were amazing.

    I almost got to see Elliott Smith in the early 00's, but something came up at the last minute and I had to bail. My friend said Elliott was so drunk that he couldn't even finish some of the songs, he would just give up and move on to the next one. So i'm actually really glad I wasn't there to see that.

    I missed out on the Pavement reunion as well =/ which was a huge bummer. I mean, was there ever a better stretch of releases in the 90's than Slanted and Enchanted, Watery Domestic, and Crooked Rain?

    Im 1/4 seeing them live, saw Bright Eyes last summer here in Philly. Excellent show and Conor was on point for most of it.

    i had the good fortune of seeing a bright eyes show in like, 1999/2000ish, where conor was too drunk to sit on a bar stool without falling off, couldn't remember what songs he had already attempted to play, couldn't remember any words, and ended up having someone from the opening band come and take him off stage.

    that was not awesome.

    but the other times were great. haha.

Originally I'd planned on posting score updates at the end of each week, but I decided I want the winning score to be a surprise. Plus I want everyone to keep playing, even if you start to miss some.     Some people tried to make yesterday's way more difficult than it actually was. Perhaps I should have clarified a few things... 1. It's a woman lol. 2. She's not Asian, she's just stoned.
