I hate to see any local brewery close, but I never had any beers from them that I liked. Maybe it was from using wild yeast floating around Cleveland?

Their stuff was unique, I'd say never particularly bad, but I know the brewery had a bad reputation on here (this was years ago, you don't hear much either way anymore). Can't say I remember even seeing their stuff in the recent past... it's been a while. Sad indeed, but survival of the fittest definitely applies in the beer world of now.

Every time I tried one of their beers I could not help but think "Ahh this is what the microflora from a shitty neighborhood in Cleveland tastes like."

I'm actually kind of bummed out. I really enjoyed their beers and still have a couple of lusters from the most recent Cleveland beer week. There were a few people I spoke to who remarked about a sourness to some of their beers, that will happen with open fermentation, maybe if they presented themselves as a "sour" brewery perhaps we'd be seeing their stuff going 1:1 with whales. Guess we'll never know now. I'll miss you indigo imp

Not that I care about rare beer, but there was nothing special about Imp. I heard the beers were better the last few years, but their initial stuff turned me off from giving them another try.

I get you, I was more poking a bit of fun at the wild ale craze. But, taste is highly subjective so to each there own. Their dragon black ale was my favorite but I can certainly see where you're coming from as there were 1 or 2 that didn't wow either. I'll miss em though

I had a couple of samples of their beers last year and drain poured them out. They were infected and horrible tasting. It's sad to see a small brewery close, but if they have a terrible product, it's only a matter of time before they go out of business.
