Industrial Arts Brewing (2021)

Got some at Wegmans today so it’s in NJ now.

 

Good to know, although I couldn't wait and picked some up in Rockland County last weekend. I will be getting it again, because I lurve this beer!

Just a heads-up to enjoy it on its own terms; it's drinking more like an imperial Pilsner to me than a "proper" Munich Festbier. Hoppy for sure, but so well put together and addictive.

 

I would definitely get that.

 

Drinking the first one now while grilling dinner. I’m enjoying it too but it does seem pretty festbier-ish to me. I’m not getting a lot of hops, but my palate is not all that great. Either way, I’m loving it.

 

I wonder whether this is brewed at Two Roads, like the Wrench 12-packs. That was okay--didn't taste horrible but didn't have that same punch as the IA version IMO.

 

Are Wrench 12-packs always brewed at Two Roads? Kind of weird that they brew their beers elsewehere, while also contract brew beers for Threes.

 

I don’t follow IA closely, but do drink Wrench. Why in the world would Wrench be brewed at Two Roads? And what beers do they brew for Threes?

 

Industrial Arts brews Vliet (or has brewed it, anyway). It sounds weird that IA would contract brew for one brewery yet also contract out at the same time. But I'm guessing that Vliet is a much smaller batch than Wrench, so they get to max out their capacity in Garnerville while they're putting the finishing touches on their Beacon brewery.

Same here, was thinking same exact thing.

 

When I ordered Torque Wrench from web site on September 17th they shipped me cans dated August 3rd.

 

That's a yikes.

 

Yeah, wasn’t thrilled with that. Makes me hesitant to order that again. How often do they brew that beer?
