... if you were in attendance at Winterfest you might have had the opportunity to try some of Cartel Brewing Company's pilot beers they had on tap at their booth. If you enjoyed them as much as I did you'll be excited to learn that they are on target to open in June (according to what one of their brewers told me at the event). Yesterday, I was trying to find out more details regarding the opening and discovered that they just launched a Kickstarter campaign in order to raise money for the final operation costs associated with the opening. If you have an extra 20 spot I would encourage you to follow the link over to the Kickstarter website and check out the great things they are doing. Cheers- Parker https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cartelbrewing/cartel-brewing-company
If I had a spare $1500 to throw around I would name it "Sugar Heaven" that way when someone was working on it I could ask them: "How's the view from sugar heaven, bitch?" But that's just my 2 cents! Cheers!
I'll try to keep this thread positive in nature to show respect to the guys at Cartel. However, I will say that I'm very glad they became brewers instead of graphic designers! I really like their logo at the home brew shop they run in Fountain Square tho. Cheers!
Your criticism is welcome. We like our logo, most do, some don't. We're here for the community, we listen to what you have to say. Unfortunately for the ones that dont like our logo, we cant change the logo but we are happy to say it doesn't affect the way our beer tastes. Mpayne5, if you donate 1500 you will get your own personal bunk bed in our brewery and name a fermeter? That a better deal? Indiana City, books and brews and many others succeeded just fine with a Kickstarter. I'm not sure why people have such a negative outlook on them as they boost the craft beer scene. Either way, you don't have to donate. Everyone is welcome at our brewery and homebrew shop regardless. Look forward to serving you our beer this summer. Cheers!
I would be happy to donate $1500 to name a fermenter AND have a bunk bed in a brewery even if I could only get there every six months or so. Seriously.
Tuxedo Park guys? When I lived in Indy that was the shop I'd go to, great to hear they're doing this.
If I donate $1500 I would need the bunk bed because my wife would throw my ass out, that being said, I'll throw a few bucks that way because we have great beer in this city and I want to see more...Keep Calm and Brew On Indy!
