Hey, I am not trying to take away from the Chicago DOOMSDAY bottle share/tasting.. But i just won't be able to make it up to chicago. SO i was curious if a group of BA's wanted to get together around the INDY area on 12/21/12 and pop some bottles of delicious beer? I'd be down for a Muncie one since i live there but INDY seemed like a better meeting place for the masses. Is there a bar that will let us have a bottle share? Its near the holidays so we don't have to make this a long drawn out thing.. unless we want to. I mean i was thinking maybe even just a 2 hr bottle share or something. Anyone who had wives or GF could maybe get dropped off and their significant other could go to dinner or shopping for 2 hrs while we pop bottles? Or we could make it a longer event as well. 12/21/12 will be my 25th birthday so that would be a sweet way to celebrate. And No i don't think the world will end but i think it gives us all another reason to drink great beer. So just comment on if you would be available to do this or would want to do this and we will see if we can get something set up. Cheers!
I think I could do this is there is a place and you all would have me. Wish I could help more with details but I have never been to a tasting before! Willing to learn and do whatever is needed though!
I might be in for this... depending on when/where. I'd be coming from Bloomington, so I'm no help on the planning front. But I do have some nice bottles I could provide.
Looks like we got 4 so far.. Still no INDY locals. So unless we get 1 or 2 of them that know a place that this can take place we won't get this done. but hopefully we can get a few more people and then start figuring out what bottles each of us will bring to have a nice DOOMSDAY tasting!
If this gets worked out I would love to attend, assuming that would be ok. What is confusing about that?
I'm interested and in NW Indy, unfortunately I don't have much to share. Some BCBS and an Enjoy By bomber is about all I have left.
I should be able to sneak away for a couple of hours, to pop a bottle or two. Given the holidays though, like you said, I don't think I'd be able to do it for a whole lot longer than that. I'm in Broad Ripple.

Just an FYI, the RAM downtown is putting on a cool "Ramegeddon" party that will feature a tapping of all the series that Andrew and Chris have been unveiling beer-by-beer every couple months. Because it's a chain, RAM kind of flies under the radar, but those two dudes can brew their asses off. Sweet. Thanks Denimdemon. I will take a look at it and see if it appeals to me.. We have atleast 5 confirmed.. Not sure of a place to do this at.. Are all you INDY people? I def know a place in Muncie that could do it but don't wanna make you come up here if none of you are close.. If we get a solid group i will move this to a group convo.. but until then i will keep the convo here. What does everyone have in their cellar that they have been itching to pop? Maybe we could get a vertical or 2 going? looks like this will prob. just be a 2 hr thing or so .
