I'm visiting my sister this weekend in Indy. I probably won't have much or any time to get to any bars, but was hoping to get to a bottleshop at some point. Is it a lost cause hoping to get any 3 Floyds there? I've seen some random bombers in Chicago before, but never any of the bigger draws. I've never actually had anything from them, so just curious if it's worth seeking out (or upland sours, which also sound like they're pretty limited). I'll try to get to one of the recommended places either way just to see what they have. You get plenty of good distro that we don't in Texas.

I could do an IP trade for something also, if anyone's interested, though it would have to be set up really soon since I leave at 5pm Friday. I have Jester King Coquetier, Detritivore, Repose, Boxer's Revenge, Funk Metal, Community Barrel Aged Legion (a couple 12 oz-ers) and I might be able to pick up a Lone Pint Yellow Rose in the morning (Whole Foods supposedly has some they just got in today). BM me if anybody's interested in trading for three floyds whatever or if you have anything else you think is good. I'll be there through monday morning, north of downtown (22nd street-ish).

There are 3Floyds bombers on shelves all over Indy. You might not find any zombie dust, but there will be plenty of bombers.

Whole Foods in Nora had lots of FFF yesterday (no ZD). Wigsplitter is a really delicious coffee oatmeal stout. They are also a good price. Be prepared for some sticker shock in the liquor stores.

Thanks a lot for the information! I read some old threads and one of them made it seem like everything goes really quickly. I'm interested in trying about anything from them right now. It doesn't have to be ZD or anything really specific. I'm not sure if my parents (my ride) will be up for driving up to Nora just for beer. I imagine Crown will be my best bet and most likely to coincide with something else we'll do. It's really a family trip to see my new neice, but I was hoping to squeeze in a bottleshop run at some point if possible. Any suggestions for local stuff that would be available right now that I should be looking for?

Based on what Seek-A-Brew says that we get that is not available in TX, I think Schlafly, Evil Twin and Bell's stuff would be of interest. As far as local beers, I'm partial to Triton Railsplitter and Daredevil Lift-Off.
