I have started to alternate between SS and Iodaphor. Bleach is very effective.

There is definitely a downside, but.
Bleach is cheap and available and fail safe. Bleach kills germs, no question about it. Nothing is as good as bleach. But it comes with a cost, and other sanitizers do not have the same penalty.

Ounce for ounce, nothing is as effective as bleach.
    A. Keep it away from stainless. B. Rinse everything 20 times. Other than that, bleach is truly a modern miracle.

I use bleach when needed. It is the solution of last resort. And it will kill what ails you.

    Cheers.

This, and it readily mixes with a surfactant, aka soap. You cant get a more effective sanitizer/cleaner than bleach with a bit of dish soap. That stuff is miraculous. And you have it as we speak. As always, rinse rinse rinse.

    Cheers.

    Infections and Suggestions?

Allow me to suggest your beer is contaminated ... not infected.
At least that's what this know-nothing claims.
