I've had it on NYE a couple times. It's gross, to me. I'd rather age it next to a radiator for a year and then drink it. The oxidation might actually help...

My man lucked out...the dude at the store was wearing his Beer Advocate T-shirt and offered an exchange and an apology. He also helped him pick out a decent stash for the holidays. I don't know what he got, but he said a lot of different large bottles. Ok so boss-man isn't up to speed, but would like to see what he got in exchange....AFTER vacation....and I am glad he got rid of the stuff before he gave me a bottle ;-)

There's at least one of these on the shelf at a liquor store by me. They always have old stuff there

Next to Bitch Please one of the biggest wastes of $$ for me this year

I don't understand why they continue with the bottling after tasting it...

I blame Jim Koch's palate fatigue. That dude's tongue must be made of pavement by now.

As many others have said, Infinium is 80% the cost of DeuS and is 20% the beer.

Do yourself a favor, fork up $5 more and get the DeuS. That is an amazing beer.

Is it in fact true that they didn't make Infinium this year? I'm not able to find a source one way or the other.

The only thing worse than the disappointment I felt when I tasted this last New Years was the fact that I had to keep drinking it because no one else liked it.
