I was just looking up beers that I can't get but would love to try and I found this one: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/863/17442

It sounds right up my alley!

Any idea what the typical value of this is? Also, any suggestions on what I may have to put up to get a beer like this? Is it super rare? I would love to try this one for sure.

    Thanks in advance!

I don't think they have bottled Perdition for a while, but you can find it on draft at their brewpub pretty regularly. Based on the Wants vs Gots on that I'd say you are gonna have a hard time getting a bottle, and it would probably be easier at this point to go for a growler.

I was really excited about trying it too, until I did. It's not that good :flushed:

Trading for a growler should be pretty darn easy. A bottle would be crazy hard. I think it was last bottled three years ago.

I was under the impression that RR didnt do growlers fill of their Belgian style beers.

Any rough estimates on how much it costs to ship a growler?

They don't fill sours. They fill non-sour belgians. I've done it.

The same as it costs to ship 64 oz of non-growler beer, roughly.

I've shipped a growler of it before. I don't remember if it was $20 or $30. Probably just $20. Shipping a growler by itself usually costs me around $20.

I just shipped out 3 750ml growlers, so a bit over a 64oz. Shipping was right around 20 with fedex.

Ok, looks like I am all set with this one. It's getting a little outside of my price range. $20 to ship plus the money I'm gonna spend on a growler = not worth it in my opinion.

Other option: expand your trade, get bottles going each way and make the shipping a little more economical.

And they just got bottles of Row 2 Hill 56 (all Simcoe pale ale) in the pub, make it happen OP!
