Just put whatever you use in the bottom of the glass. (I've done it.) No need to Rube-Goldberg it, & wait 1/2hr+. My favorites Cold-brew coffee &/or datil pepper sauce (2-3 drops/12oz beer) .

@KRug , ok, since u like pepper, and we are talking about left hand stout,
I'd try 1 drop of habanyero for smokey heat, 1/8 teaspoon of coco powder and a dusting of cinnomon power in the Randell.

    2. A faint dusting of ginger powder.

    3. 5-6 fully smashed raspberries and the habanyero.

    Have fun

Nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, and a little sugar since the spices are not sweetened and can bring bitterness otherwise.

I've used flaked coconut in the Randall Jr., works well with a stout.

All of you folks using a Randall with non-draft beer are wild. I've only seen it used off a tap and I use mine on my kegerator. Normal bottle/can/growler pour infusing I do with a coffee press. Is there any upside to "Randall"ing beer not on draft?

No particular upside lol, just some easy fun infusions without having to invest in expensive equipment

Note - it's not a "Randall" it's a "Randall Jr"...(which, to me, looks like a plastic "glass" with a screen insert and a screw on lid).

... seems to me your coffee press might work just as well or be even better (depending on the additive - don't think a press would do much to some of the suggestions above).

Add vanilla bean soaked in bourbon for days.
