Not been on here long, but haven't seen a thread for Innis & Gunn, one of my favourite Scottish brewers. I've tried all of their beers, but was in a specialist shop tonight and bought a Smokin'Gunn. "A smoked Scottish beer matured in Bourbon barrels and finished with Maple syrup", 'Kin fantastic.

Smokin' Gunn is the one I&G beer I've yet to try, and actually do want to,
the brewery isn't the best but is far from the worse
I'd say half their beers slightly disappointed, the other half were pretty rocking
with the exception of the Craft Lager which was just sucky suck suck

Gave up on them as each of their beers I tried went down the drain. Last one was the treacle porter. Bleeeccchhhh!

They're a bit hit & miss. They started out with an interesting idea, but I often get the impression that their brews are more style than substance. They need less marketing and more integrity.....

If you like Innis & Gunn, try Tennent’s Lager from the same brewery.
