It appears that Clown Shoes is a bit of a cult favorite around here parts. I've always found their beers to be underwhelming and the price overwhelming.

I do like the cover art for that Brown Angel though. I do a double take every time.

I don't really agree. Personally, if you want to talk under whelming beer for an overwhelming price, Lolita, Halia and Gillian come to mind.

You just had me so excited for an ICP beer from Clown Shoes, then smashed my dreams to tiny little pieces.

    *sigh*

I was hoping for some faygo infused beer or something silly along those lines

more like a beer brewed with grease paint and the boob sweat of a dozen hand picked juggalos.

Around these parts, Clown Shoes is one of the cheapest growlers on the market. Usually $7.99-$9.99. I dont
think I have seen one priced above $10.

Nice. Most of their bombers aren't even that cheap where I live. Drink up! And can I get a Cool Story Bro for the op? Hallelujah!

Luchador en fuego was absolutely phenomenal, slightly under the rank of a world class beer IMO, glad to see they're bringing it back. The rest of their stouts are good, but nothing too special.

I think a fresh 4 pack of galactica is as good as good value as any hop-centric beer in Massachusetts. (And most of new england for that matter).

Its in the same tier as Hoponious Union for me, though I do prefer Hoponious slightly.

They're not boobs, they're pot tits. TOTALLY different.
    That's not Carl.

And lastly, with all the hype I was excited to try some clown shoes when they picked up CO as a new distro state. I'm not sorry that I tried some of their beers, but I walk right past them now. Now they're just turding up the shelves like half the crap that gets distro out here.

You're kidding me, right? Their prices are some of the lowest on the market and their "bang for the buck" is through the roof. Something must be wrong where you shop.

Hard to get their beers fresh. At least they do bottle dating but its pretty common to find stuff from 2012 in front on the shelves. Im sure their beers are good (when fresh) but I usually avoid them.
