Hi all, does anyone know where I can find Weyerbacher Insanity in Boston? I've tried my normal places (Bauer, Coolidge, Blanchards) and came up unsuccessful. I enjoyed Blithering Idiot quite a bit and really want to try this. Thanks
Marty's always seems to have a full stock of Weyerbacher. I haven't been looking for it, but it's usually "everywhere" - it's possible MA just hasn't seen the latest release yet...
Someone mentioned Marty's via p/m about another beer. I've never been there as the reviews here for it are rather lackluster. Might go check it out sometime soon. Thanks
Marty's is what it is - tremendous selection but very high prices. I don't shop there often, I just pop in when I have softball games nearby... it's good for hunting down less popular stuff (like Weyerbacher).
Actually, Weyerbacher is distributed in MA by Atlantic - another co. owned by Marty's owners - and Marty's prices on Atlantic's products are usually pretty decent and oftentimes are the least expensive in the area. And, of course, Marty's would be the first to carry it.
I actually just saw this at Craft Beer Cellar in Belmont. Not sure what the price was but they do have it on the shelf. They are always good at holding stuff for you if you give them a call or tweet them. Good Luck.
How's the selection here overall? That's kinda on my way home from work. I've never been. Is it worth a trip outside of just picking up insanity?
It's solid - it's no Julio's but for their space, they do a good job. I'm usually in there once a week.
Thanks. I actually stopped by last Friday. I was pretty solid. Picked up a six of bigfoot a six on insanity and did a mix a six. Nice selection.
