    Given today's beer culture and trading, I can't help but wonder if this will ever be the case again. It seems like every release is making everyone hoard beer just in case something might reach whale status. Hell, I've been guilty of buying too many bottles of certain beers because of the possibility of it being really good/popular.

    God I just hope this beer tastes good. I don't think I've ever been this clueless as to how a bottle I have will actually be.

    Isn't most beer 'rare' in relation to the size of the customer base? Other than macros and Fat Tire, SNPA, Boston Lager, 312 etc. the yield of virtually every beer on this website is pretty feeble. Even a 25,000 bottles release is pretty 'small' these days - our voracious appetite is mostly being satiated by the number of new breweries opening rather than significant increases in production from established breweries.

    But the main thrust of my argument was thus - When it comes to Midnight Sun, I'll believe it when I see it.

    Well considering the only two that I really like are EC 12 and EC 18 I hope I'm not screwed.

    Wouldn't pull an Ann, but wouldn't be totally surprised if it ends up somewhere around Cable Car level (eventually)

    It would pull an Ann if someone with an Ann wants a T25. This will be the only batch ever made, which is not something that can be said for Ann...

    I like how you can see the actual progress of the hype at this point. Somebody posted a pre-ISO a couple hours ago (first one I think?) and now there are around 5 more up there...
