    3 years out of date is a long time in beer terms.

    Just look at some of the London recco's - Market Porter & Doric Arch both places that I'd frequent regularly 4 or 5 years ago but haven't been to either in a good year I reckon!

    Yes judging by The Lamb's inclusion on that list.

    I spent probably about half day searching out for this pub. Low and behold I was disappointed when I did find it and the freshness of the ale they served.

    I never spotted the date , the article appeared in an e mail from Beer Connoisseur last week. I know nothing about the London scene, not having been there for 42 years! I do however visit the Trip in Nottingham every now and then.But Nottingham is stuffed to the gills with excellent pubs; if I liked cities I would be there quite often.

    That article is so old the Wenlock Arms has gone out of business, lain dormant for a good while and now been re-opened.
