I have a wine cooler that I took the wine racks out of and replaced with treated wood. No matter what the temperature is set at it gets extremely humid, to the point that water gathers on the wood.

The weirdest part is that it seems that somehow some way the lower abv bottles leak ? I had multiple cantillons that I removed after being put in full and the beer levels have dropped some by close to 50%. Also seem to find stains on the wood from other beers that are high abv, like stouts.

Cannot for the life of me figure out why my cooler is making my bottles leak. For a point of reference the bottles are standing straight up. cooler has been unplugged and the issues are no longer, but would love to be able to use it again.

    Condensation.
    The seals are not sealing.
Put a light inside, close the door. Turn off all the room lights and check for any light through the seal. Or replace the entire seal, you can get the replacements online.

    Bottle leaking.
Refrigeration below 27F. Low ABV beers are freezing at the set point. Higher ABV do not.
Wine fridges will have a big temp difference between top and bottom. We modified one for a sixtel. Adding a tower fan fixed it, so add a small fan. Be sure the bottles do not touch the cold plate.

When you say treated wood keep on mind that the treatment is poison. Varies depending on what part of the country but poison none the less.
    Cheers.
