    Nice article, but one interesting note: The writer does not specify the provenance of these bottles....which I think is something important to consider when dealing with uber-vintages.

    EDIT: I'll just assume that these were not exactly "cellared" by the writer himself....

    That 1968 is nuts... Whoa. I have never had that alone. Only blended in a Ardanun!

    Nice, makes me want to open up my Hair of the dog Adam batch 73. I've had it for ages..like a thousand days or something!

    Good to read that the teriyaki is only slight in the nose after 40+ years. I've had some English Barleywines half that age with a disturbing amount of teriyaki presence.
