International Beer Day (2023)

I hope to hell it wasn't keg beer. I drove 230 miles (round-trip) just to get it. It certainly didn't look like any "keg" beer I've ever seen; it looked more like nitro. Not sure whether that means anything...

 

Well... that could be the result of pumping outside air into the beer from the beer engine.

 

Anybody else wanting to piss in my swimming pool, feel free to get in line.

Later on, I'm going to an attempt a visit to a brewery north of my city that I have not been to before.

 

No worries. TBH, I'm getting the exact same thing next time I go there anyway.

I am sorry to say that my suspicions seem to be valid. I mentioned it to @M-Fox24 - who did the good work of calling them. It's keg beer being served through their engines... likely with lower carb and at a warmer temp than if it was standard keg draft. They are simulating a cask dispense without using "live" ale. In the big picture it's a shame, but in the little picture, what matters is if you enjoyed the beer. They are good beers.
