    "Erin Peters – aka The Beer Goddess – is the founder of International Stout Day. The global holiday was created by the beer writer in Southern California in 2011. It soon became a worldwide celebration; online, in breweries and bars worldwide.

    "#StoutDay will be celebrated for the 10th year, on Thursday, November 4, 2021. Just like wine vineyards tell the story of the people, the weather, the land and its history, beer, too, tells a story of the land, of the people and the brewers. Having a day dedicated to a beer style really has just accelerated the excitement in the craft brew circles as more learn about the intrigue regarding its history and the variety that the craft beer industry has to offer."

    I imagine that more stout is consumed on March 17 than on Stout Day...

    I imagine your right. I’m interested in the numbers on that day for Guinness, particularly. Maybe you have it some where?

    Checked in COVA Fresh to Death (impy milk stout with peppermint)... Batches: gotta get them all!

    But seriously, its stout season, loads of stouts in the fridge right now.

    I grabbed a Bell's Black is Beautiful as well as the BBA version, plus for the sake of not having to make another visit to the beer fridge in the basement, I also grabbed a leftover Bell's Expedition Stout from last year. Haven't decided yet which one, but it's likely that I'll stop at one. If my wife doesn't want a whole bottle from those three, well that'll be a bonus finishing her bottle.

    What's your choice?

    KBS Espresso, KBS CVC, or CBS. Haven’t quite decided yet. Everything else I have at the moment is in too big a bottle for a Thursday night:wink:

    Around sundown I'll be opening my one lonely Lancaster Brewing Co Double Chocolate Milk Stout. Then, if the mood strikes me, it'll be followed later by a plain ol' KBS, circa 2018.
