Good afternoon I am going to be driving from Denver to Philly and I'm not to familiar with the Midwest beer scene. Any must stops off i80 besides 3 floyds? Also any beers I should look out for, I enjoy NE IPAs and a good BA Stout? I am going to be passing through August 30th

Are you making the trek non stop?
Des Moines is ~10 Hours from Denver on 80 and makes for a decent stopping point if you aren't driving straight through to Philly. Regardless, Surly and Toppling Goliath are the heavy hitters distributed in Iowa both date their cans and bombers. Might post this in the Great Lakes forum as well, as they cover Illinois, Indiana and Ohio.

Beertopia in Omaha would be a good stop.

I second beertopia, literally 2 miles north of I-80 with limited traffic.

First, make your mandatory stop in Colorado. EPIC has some good BA Stouts and if by chance you're into sours then ODD 13 Brewing, Crooked Stave, Anderson Valley, and Almanac Brewing will fill a cart fast on top of your IPA's from La Cumbre, Pipeworks, Melving Brewing, and ODD 13 and whoever else you so choose to track down. I'll also hop on the wagon and say Beertopia in Omaha, NE is probably you're best option but Nebraska's distro hardly holds its own against other state's distro along the way, but it is a lot better this year than in years past. Then errr.. head east!

I will suggest John's Grocery in Iowa City.
