There really should be two lines for on-site consumption. One for those of us who know what we want and one for those who need to ask questions before deciding. Not trying to knock newcomers at all, but when you ask questions about every beer on the menu you tend to slow the line down. When I was there tonight, two of the three tasting room staffers spent quite a while discussing beers with newcomers; again, not trying to knock them (I was there at one point), but certainly delaying service for those of us who knew what we wanted an don't need a consultation session.

The draft lines were back to the entrance steps and slow moving. I stood in the draft line for about 45 minutes which is the longest it's ever taken for me. Bottle lines moved swiftly.

The beer is about what I expected it to be. I feel like it's a beer that will really shine when paired with food. Just about any food actually. Its not funky, quite mild and easy to drink. The cantaloupe is present in the nose and comes through as a rindy sort of taste at the end, it's light but there sort of like how Hibernal B1 was at first with the watermelon. I did not get any tarragon on the nose or taste. I picked up a tinge of ginger on the nose and slightly in the taste, no saltiness. No alcohol detected.

Overall my 16oz pour disappeared quite fast and I would have grabbed another but... that line. My arm grew tired holding that huge bottle the whole time in the line and it was kinda funny watching people walk around cradling it like a baby. Was also a challenge to get home as it doesn't fit anywhere. Oh.... And it doesn't fit in the fridge upright. The struggle is real.

Any idea of how many bottles were sold? I'm guessing 300'ish so far.

It was 300'ish around 8 last night. Wasn't a swarm afterwards, so Id guess 350'ish.

I made my usual 9pm trip and got bottles around 945. At the time it was about 400 bottles sold. There was a last minute rush of about 15 people when last call happened.

That picture is one of the coolest and creepiest things I've seen. I wish I had a piñata head of myself.

Saw that while waiting in line with my 5 year old daughter...she thought the mask was "extra silly" in her words.

The line moved really slow today. I suppose it was just a combination of talkative bartenders and inquisitive guests. I watched a couple in front of us take 13 minutes from approach to departure. (Yes I'm an impatient jerk and kept count).

Sometimes it goes like that. Looked packed today. The tent for Equipoise had little if any line but was constantly busy.

totally off topic. what's going on with those cabin looking things being built up front? if it involves living next to the brewery, i'm ready to sign up.

usually Jeff from Jester King would post if there was a shortage. From what I've seen this weekend you should be good. I'll be out there myself again tomorrow

Look up tipping t. Started as a bed and breakfast with 2 houses, they now have a 3rd house and are building 10 cabins. We have stayed there and it is amazing, nothing like waking up and walking to JK.
