Iowa Beer

They always used to have 'fresh*' Jever pils in unopened cases! Aside from that brand (and a few, rarer German imports), they had Dogfish and Founders and a few other Crafts that I never saw in Iowa, but it's literally been a few years since my last visit. I preferred it to Van's down the road -- even though I hit both out of habit

* Less than five or six months old, and we couldn't get that in Minneapolis at the time.

 

I was just there a couple of days ago. They had a bunch of Founders Imperial Stout and DH Plead the Fifth on the shelf. Also a bunch of locals ie Galena Brewing, Potosi, Great River, etc. I've found some rarer stuff in the past but not this time. For the area it's a great store.
