Iowa Rumors?

Does anyone know if w00t stout is coming or not, for sure? I bought a glass online hoping to pair it as Stone said "available in our entire distribution area" but that was apparently false.

 

It's already been here and is probably gone in most places. I know it sold out in Des Moines in a day or two. Hopefully we get a 2nd round of shipments from Stone, similar to IRS and Espresso IRS and more will be available before long.

 

I was in Des Moines last night and stopped at the Pleasant Hill Hy-Vee. They had just received a case yesterday. Kent(?) seems like a cool dude.

 

Yeah.... Kent is awesome. He is definitely my go to beer man and that's my go to HyVee. He knows his stuff and gets great beers.

 

Fresh Squeezed, yes... Black Butte XXV, no...

Really? Must've only been your part of the state. I never saw any in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area.

 

My wife and sister are heading out from Colorado next weekend and I am trying to see if they can pick up a keg for me while they are out there. Does anyone know if founders or Bells use microstar for their shells? Makes it a lot easier for me to take care of deposits. Whats the story with All Day IPA, is that available anywhere? They are visiting LeMars and Ames area, so I was thinking my best option was Cyclone liquor for getting some stuff not available here.

That's where I was going to hit up. Only one case, someone probably already snagged the 1 alternate bottle art. I wouldn't be surprirsed if all bottles were gone already.

What are you guys seeing for prices on the Deschutes 6 packs?

$9.99 here in Sioux City. Tried Twilight, Chainbreaker, and Mirror Pond and think they're all a little overpriced but good beers to push BMC drinkers' palates.

 

On second thought the price seems fine. Couple bucks more than masscraft, slightly cheaper than Bell's and Founders.

 

Typical price point here in Minnesota. Great price for the quality.
