Zythos Beer Festival, visits to different abbeys and Groezrock are on my schedule. The reason i'm publishing this thread in such early day is to make it possible to gather stuff to trade. I will update this thread several times until it's time to leave for Belgium. I don't know where you will be living in Belgium but i could take you to Westvleteren and Struise in that period and do a trade with you and get you in contact with someone who has the Westvleteren dubbel and redcap..... Thijs
First days during ZBF I'll be in the Brussels/Leuven area. And the last days, 1-4 May, I'll be in Meerhout near Geel. The other days I'll probably visit Brugge for one night and then go by Westvleteren. Thats all I planned yet. I want to hold it as open as possible to get the beers I'm looking for. I would love to visit Struise and Westvleteren with a local and any help is very appreciated since those beers are as rare as they can be. Just send me a PM if there is something you're intrested in.

Nacht van de Grote Dorst (Night of the Great Thirst) on the eve of Zythos, if you're into the lambics and such. Get out to West Flanders and you might find some old stuff randomly on the racks of St. Pietershof, http://www.lavastamondo.be/.
Unfortuanatly that's not on our way home. But I'd love to meet up in Belgium if you happen to be there. Thank you very much. Does Grote Dorst have different opening hours during Zythos? I heard its only open sundays 10am-1:30 pm?
I couldn't figure out how to start a post here but here goes anyway. Where in Brussels can I find a few bottles of St. Bernardus Abt 12? Most previous replies state at the local grocery stores but do they usually stock their shelves with the 12 version?

I have some of the bottles that you are looking for. But chances are they will be undrinkable or drain pours. Sadly, They were not kept in the best conditions over the years.
