I have a couple of Surly trades to fill and before I buy them, I figured I'd offer up some extras that have arrived through trades for any of Surly I need to swap. I need the following 4 packs: 2 Furious, 1 Cynic, 1 Coffee, 1 Overrated. I have: 1-4 pack of Berliner Dogfish- 2 90 Minute IPAs and 1 120 Minute Parkway- 1 Raven's Baltic and 4 Get Bent IPAs 1- Olde Hickory Daniel Boone Lonerider- 1 Pistols and Dawn and 1 Sweet Josie Brown 1- Kern River Isabella 1- DuClaw HERO I'll throw in a fresh bomber of Pseudo Sue if someone really helps me out. Just looking to free some space and mostly save some cash. Minnetonka/Maple Grove/Plymouth are the best locations for me to meet.
If I was around I'd trade but I saw all of those on the shelf in Minnetonka yesterday. Why don't you just hit the stores?
OP stated very clearly that he wanted to trade for the beers so that he wouldn't have to buy them. To save money. As he said in his post above. Which you were responding to. Sheesh, school is OUT, why am I still lecturing
Yes, school is out and along with saving money I need space in my fridge. I have two kids and no more school lunches, so there's a lot of pressure on fridge space too. It's not pretty.
I'm going to venture a guess that the reason people aren't flocking to help you is because you are blatantly regifting, and most people think that is disrespectful to the gifter. Moreso, you claim to be doing so to say money and refrigerator space for your kids. Thus, I'm also going to suggest (and I hope I'm doing so respectfully as that is my internet) that if you do not have the money or refrigerator space to trade for beer then it might be wise to find a way to be content with the beers we have available here in Minnesota. After all, if those beers are good enough that people from around the world want to trade for them they are good enough to be drank on a regular basis.
I think most people just don't have full 4 pks of Surly laying around. Shit, I was contemplating purchasing some just to go after that DFH. I hope I don't go to Hell for such thoughts. Glad you could get this done OP.
Dude, who the hell cares? What are you, a mom who caught her kid giving away the shirt his auntie bought him for his birthday? I can't understand the thought process of logging onto BA, going to the midwest forum, clicking on a thread, and replying to such a simple request with a response that sounds like a lecture from a schoolmarm. Get a life.
