This is a real nice beer. I know it's been available for a long time now but I'm just getting to it. After having a few pints of Hazy Little Thing one night with some friends I decided that I needed to pursue the Little Thing series from SN as best I can. Tropical Little Thing .. This brew masks its 7% ABV quite well and drinks easy. In fact, all the beers in this series IMO are very easy to drink.
New IPA FROM fiddlehead - Just Exactly Perfect Nice. Not as good as Second Fiddle but better than their regular IPA Not sure it will be a standard offering
Last Thursday I had a pint of NW IPA at Steeplejack's taproom on Hawthorne before heading across the street to see Coroner (with Petrification and Heathen) at the Hawthorne Theatre. That was a tasty pint, and definitely better than the last couple of Steeplejack brews I tried. I'm glad I stopped in and gave it a shot.
On Friday night it was more IPA goodness from Breakside with Mrs. vurt: That's my pint of Thriving Metropolis on the left and her Tall Guy IPA on the right. And yes, she crocheted a coaster for her beer.
