IPA Day! Any plans?

    August 1st, nearly a week away..
    I plan on breaking my beer fast that day with Beachwood BBQ Melrose IPA.

    What does everyone have planned for that day?

    If I can get my hands on a Melrose it will be my first IPA of the day, if not I will start with a trusty and always delicious Ruin-Ten!!

    Two hearted is a must but hopefully I'll also have something like Dreadnaught. Maybe I'll get my hands on the Sierra Nevada Beercamp IPA vpack and celebrate with that!

    I will probably make the same comments that I have the past few years. Mostly regarding how the originators must be unemployed, these beer holidays are always on a Thursday? I also have never received my iPad from the first #iPaday.

    At the end of the day I will drink a Two Hearted, just like every other day, and ignore the "holiday".

    With all do respect, I do not take my comments or IPA day all that seriously and figure a bit of sarcasm never hurt anyone.

    I'm visiting my folks down in NC and will be there during IPA Day. I just heard that Wicked Weed is putting two of their fresh hop IPAs on tap that day so I will probably head there for a few pints! Wicked Weed is awesome and I love me some hops so it's a win-win! :slight_smile:

    So far I have a Ruinten, a PtE, one each of Alpines Duet, Nelson, and Pure Hoppiness, a 4 pack of Deschutes Mercynary, and a bottle of Coronado Sock Knocker.

    Just got a Victory mixed case (2x12)--should have a few Hop Devils remaining then. And if not, I couldn't care less... will drink something else.
