IPA Day! Any plans?

Too bad Dogfish Head didn't get American Beauty finished earlier. Today would have been the perfect release day!

 

To celebrate, I'm going to drink ALL of the IPAs and DIPAs I have currently in my personal inventory:

Got started with Ballast Point Dorado Double IPA and Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA last night. Heading up to KRBC this evening for some fresh IPA.

Because it's new to me and I tend to like the brewery.

 

I just happened to have today (IPA Day) off and WAS PLANNING on hitting up a local shop that has the following deal for IPA Day:

Buy a pint of IPA and get your choice of 3 beers from their "secret stash" that includes PtE, RuinTen, Melrose, Knuckle Sandwich, and Alpine's Nelson (I've never been able to find Nelson previously). Their draught selection includes Aroma Coma and Knuckle Sandwich (amongst may others), both of which I desperately wanted to try on tap.

Now...

My daughter is home sick today. No Nelson or Knuckle Sandwich for me. I feel like a bad dad when I say, "FML."

 

I am going to start with some Zombie Dust, move to La Cumbre Elevated, Hit up some Sunking Grapefruit Jungle, probably toss in a Two Hearted, finish my Growler of Pizza Boy Grapefruit In Ur IPA, and nightcap with a Troegs Triple Mango IPA.... Should be a rough friday morning.

 

Stone IPA, Two Hearted, Double Jack, and Devil Dancer. Great excuse to drink some world class IPAs!

 

I'm starting right now and have my day planned out on what I have in the fridge.

Avery IPA --> Kentucky IPA --> New Belgium Ranger --> Torpedo --> Head Hunter. Wish I had more world-class stuff right now, but I struck out on finding fresh Jai Alai when I was out earlier, so I went for the almost assuredly disappointing Kentucky IPA.

hm only cold ipas I have are peak organic ipa and torpedo.
but have big eye and sculpin also. soon as I'm off work I have to recycle bottles/cans and probably buy some firestone wookey or double jack.

 

On my way to nebco for a ghandi bot release then onward to Capt Lawrence to sample each of their 6 Ipa offerings and the day will still be young I'm not driving today so We will freestyle it from there and I probably will not be fit to show my face at work tomorrow! New Belgium Ranger IPA, never had it before we just started getting distro of NB.
My buddy has some fresh Jai Alai as well, and maybe a RuinTen for good measure.

 

Just a thought, with over 100 styles listed on BA, we could have 2-3 style days a week every year.

I've got some Fresh Squeezed, Odell IPA and Modus Hoperandi in the fridge so I'll have an assortment of those. Maybe I'll stop at the store and pick up some Myrcenary or Double Jack.

 

Picked up a NoDa Hop, Drop & Roll in a trade, so that'll go today, plus possibly my Apocalypse Cow.
