IPA for a beginner

    So UK brewers can brew and market non-traditional IPA's but US brewers shouldn't?

    I’d say bring torpedo or sculpin, but if they’re super snobby, ask for a few of the (insert local brewery) $20 4-packs at your local distro.

    I'd go with fresh Cigar City Jai Alai, Ballast Point Sculpin, Bells Two Hearted, Dogfish head 60/90, SN Pale Ale/Torpedo. If they turn those down then they don't like IPAs and don't want to drink.

    I personally wouldn't mess with $20/4 packs for a party. Not unless people were bringing some also and do 8oz pours to make sure people aren't wasting beer.

    Oh you got to or Zeno's Pale ale. If he was in Texas I would have recommended Lone Pint beers for sure.
