One if my favorite beers is Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA out of Delaware. Unfortunately it is not available in MN. Has anyone tried this beer and can give me a comparable thats available in the Twin Cities area.

I haven't had it fresh in over a year, but there are lots of great IPAs here, while that is an imperial IPA, try steel toe size 7 and summit saga, also sierra nevada hoptimum is great and super hoppy.

yeah I might lean toward Hoptimum as a comparison...been about five years since I had the 90 but that seems right....Size seven is more like Odell IPA in my opinion...or at least the first bottles I had last fall...the latest I had last week was underwhelming to say the least...perhaps old but I got it Liqour barrel in STLPark so I would hope it is fresh....Saga has some of those same notes too I think.....good suggestions...

I know they are different, but they are solid, have had size 7 on tap twice this week, truly enjoyable, if abrasive was available I would say that. Minnesota lacks a good imperial IPA that is year round. if you can enjoy regular IPAs then those hopefully will be good for you.

I would say Myrcenary as well. Not identical, but a good comparator.

I am a big fan of 90 Minute, and bring it back with me when I travel. For my taste, 90 Minute is a bit heavier on the malt sweetness, and Myrcenary has a cleaner citrus profile. Both taste delicious, and I would happily reach for either one.
