    He guys,
a friend of mine is a huge IPA fan and he has his birthday coming up.

I would love to give him something like this: http://brooklynbrewshop.com/beer-making-kits/everyday-ipa-1-gal-kit . Problem is, I am obviously way too late to order this. It needs to be here (Berlin) on Monday (better is Friday). So I ended up on Hobbybrauerversand, but all the kits there are super expensive, and none of them is specially for IPAs.

Thats why I am asking this; does anyone know a fast German online shop with some IPA kits? Or maybe a store in Berlin where I could go?
    Thanks!

I couldn't even find a Berlinerweisse in Berlin, what makes you think you can find an IPA kit? Seriously, just find some American hops there...any grainbill such as a German Pils and Munich malts with a neutral yeast will do just fine. There have got to be some homebrew shops there that can help you out...good luck and prost!

The regional forums (Europe) might be a better place on BA...http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/forums/germany.51/

It's more than likely the Brooklyn Brew Shop offers 'next-day air' shipping if you're willing to pay ... which has long been the price for procrastination.

Are there homebrew shops in Germany? I had a friend tell me several years ago that homebrewing was not legal, thus I wouldn't expect to find any supply shops. If it's not legal, you're stuck with making an order from a service in the USA or some country where it is legal, and you'll have to follow Herb's advice to try to get overnight shipping.

    .
Does Brooklyn Brew Shop or any US shop offer overnight shipping to Germany? I'd be pretty surprised

How about from one of the homebrew supply places in England? That way you'll be within the EU - would't have to deal with customs declarations presumably - and probably have a better chance of getting it quickly.

Many o-LHBS offer international next-day air shipping via UPS / FedEx / DHL.

Really? Like who? Please give one example of an LHBS in the US that can deliver next day to Germany.
