That's where I'd put G-Bot with this lineup without batting an eye. Subjective though, for sure.

    Cheers!

Tasting happened Thursday night. 4 attendees. #1 honors received as followed...

    Heady x2
    Pliny x1
    Zombie x1

    Some comments were:

Head Hunter: Sweet (as in sugar), Good complexity, Fresh hoppiness...
Zombie Dust: Tastes like they just pulled the hops out, clean and fresh, not much depth after the hop-smack...
Alchemy Hour: Caramel, More developed maltiness & balance, Feel more of the alcohol in the mouth...
Sucks: I'd buy this to drink every day, citrus, musty nose?...
Pliny: Wow, Most balance of all tasted, No characteristic all that distint so it didn't stand out...
Heady: Biggest nose by a million miles/smelled it as it was cracked open, Much "earthier" than the rest (slate or stone/ash/old soil), Didn't want to consider this #1 but I had no choice.

It was fun. To give you an idea of people involved: 2 guys who work in the wine/beer biz running a great bottle shop/bar, 1 woman who has a very undeveloped palate and taste for differences in beer, and myself who is very versed in wine - 20 years in fine dining and drinking amazing wines and beers, but just personally getting big into craft.

I'll also post the exact notes of those who took them along with 1-6 rankings for each person.

    Cheers!

Yeah, because Heady rules. I mean shit, it's 2013. I can't go into my massive NY beer store and buy anything that tastes remotely similar.
