Hey everyone please read my following ipa recipe and tell me what you think. I'm going for bitter/ hoppy and hopefully danky west coast ipa. All suggestions, comments are welcome and appreciated.
I already brewed it as is last night. But let me know what y'all think, I hope it's not too bitter.
5 gallon batch extract with steeped grains
    .5Lb rahr standard 6-row
    .5lb briess carapils dextrin
    .25lb rahr white wheat
6.6Lb briess pale pilsner light lme
    1Lb briess pilsner light dme
    2 oz Columbus
    3 oz simcoe
    1 oz Chinook
    1 oz Willamette.
    Wyeast 1272 American ale

    Steep grains@ 148-150 for. 40 min.
Add lme & dme, bring to boil.
Boiled for 20 min then started 60 min hop additions.
    60-3/4 oz Columbus
    45-1/2 oz simcoe
    30-1 oz chinook
10-1/2 oz simcoe &1/4 oz Columbus
    5-1/2 oz simcoe & 1/2 oz Columbus
    0-1/2 oz simcoe & 1/2 oz Columbus
Cooled to 180°, 20 min break.
    Filled to 5 gallons.cooled to 70°.
    Added 1272 wyeast.
    OG is 1.057
Later I will DH with 1 oz simcoe &1 oz Willamette. Not sure what FG I should be looking for. Thanks for reading this and let me know what you think. Cheers.

Kinda weird steeping grains, but it should work...just limit water with steeping grains < a gallon.

I'd sub out the Willamette for Columbus, but if you're adamant about the Wilamette then I'd suggest bumping it up to 2 oz.

my favourite yeast for ipa is good ole us05, cheap, easy to use and dam neutral

Just to be clear, you are looking at a partial mash here since you can't just "steep" 6 row and wheat malt. Which is what @GreenKrusty101 is hinting at.

With that said, why are you adding those grains? What do you hope to gain? Why the mix of LME and DME? Why that hop schedule?

Grains I added for flavor/ color.
LME and DME to hopefully boost abv.
Hop schedule I wanted to make a piney/ danky west coast style IPA. But I think I should have used the 45 min simcoe later more towards the end of boil. And for the comment about dry hop with Columbus instead of Willamette I think I will do that. Thanks again.

6 row, Carapils, and white wheat won't add much color or flavor.

Especially useful in extract IPAs is a little sugar instead of the extra LME/DME/Carapils (to boost abv and lower FG)

    Needs more crystal!

So would you recommend swapping out the 1#DME for 1# sugar. And what kind of sugar? Dextrose or table sugar? Also how much crystal would you add and what kind of flavor would it impart to the final brew. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the extract has crystal in it already.

Those grains won't give you what you are looking for "flavor/color" and with the small quantities you have you probably won't even know they are there, so it is probably not worth a partial mash. I usually think of "west coast" as no crystal.

Do you have both the DME and LME already? If not, just go with light DME and hops.

Why Willamette here? I don't associate this hop with the flavors you described http://www.freshops.com/hops/variety_descriptions
How about bitter with Columbus, then 1/2 oz Chinook and the remainder of Columbus at 15 and 5 minutes then dryhop with the Simcoe. If you want, the Willamette at 0 min.

I would use table sugar, but limit to 1/2# for a 5 gal batch...add with 15 min left in boil along with the second 1/2 of your LME...forget the steeping/mashing grains...IMHO.
