I was looking for some recommendations on IPA's/Double IPA's to try out. I'm new to trying out different beers, only tested a handful and like what I've seen so far. Any recommendations would be great. I'm in the Tampa, FL area so recommendations for this area would be helpful. I prefer the hoppier and slightly more bitter IPA's.

    What I've liked so far:
    Dogfish 60 & 90 Minute
Sierra Nevada Torpedo (My favorite so far)
    Flying Dog Snake Dog IPA
    Two Hearted Ale

If you like Two Hearted, definitely keep an eye out for Hopslam when it comes out. Pretty hyped up beer but I think it lives up to it. Can't go wrong with:

    Lagunitas Hop Stoopid
Stone Ruination and Stone IPA (I liked the 16th anniversary even though some people didn't)...also, IMHO, Stone Pale Ale is hoppy enough for an IPA, and it is damn good.
    New Belgium Ranger IPA
    Green Flash West Coast IPA
    Victory Hop Wallop
    Dogfish Head 75 minute
Sierra Nevada Celebration is probably my favorite seasonal beer that gets released
Sweetwater IPA on tap is sooo much better than a bottle, definitely should try that one.

My favorite IPA I've had in my day is probably Lawson's Double Sunshine IPA; you'd have to trade for that one. Let us know which ones you like!

Fresh Jai Alai is the closest you'll get to heaven probably ever, at least you can actually touch, see, and taste Jai Alai.

New Belgiums Super IPA is really good and really cheap. It won't be around long though.

Pretty much any of Lagunita's IPA/DIPA's, Coronado's Idoit IPA was one that I felt was quite underrated, Sweetwater, and of course CCB. Also Green Flash West Coast IPA is great.

WTF??????? Can't believe no one has mentioned these wonderful IPAs:
    Avery IPA
    Avery Maharaja
Great Divide Rumble (in season now, get it while you can)

Double Jack. It never ceases to amaze me why it isn't considered one of the greatest. Drinks like freakin water, tastes like a hop bomb.

Smuttynose Finest Kind - good price too
Intuition I-10 is worth a short if it's made it's wat to Tampa yet
    Sculpin or Big Eye
    either of the SN Harvest
I second the mention of Founders Centennial - still suffering Founders withdrawal since moving to Jax last year

Ditto on that, and you'll have no trouble finding it. Get it fresh when it comes out.

I just had a bottle of this the other night that I received in the mail and it was outstanding. Sadly NB doesn't make it down here, but his was one of the best DIPAs I have had.

    To the OP:
The Hill Farmstead/CCB collaboration NOR was quite possibly the best DIPA my wife and I have ever tasted keep an eye out if it ever makes its way back to the CCB Tasting Room get there fast!

I also say if you live in Tampa, you really should be drinking super fresh and tasty Jai Alai.
I second the Sculpin recommendation as well super good and fresh in the six-packs right now (but fairly pricey).
