I think I have at least one left, maybe two.

Victory Storm King, Great Divide Yeti and Stone SSRA are what you are looking for. I also found Bear Republic Black Bear stout to be pretty hoppy.

You haven't seen it because they stopped making it. Shame too, I loved Diesel.

You just let me know if you want to part with those Stones!!! I will GLADLY take them off your hands!!!

Not black, but I still have 2 and a 1/2 cases of the 17th Anniversary. Even it still tastes delicious!

Troegs's Java Head Stout has a pretty decent hop character, as well. Probably one of the hopper stouts I've had.

I agree that Bigfoot is hoppy but since it is a Barleywine it doesn’t quite fit the Stout/Porter mold.

    Cheers!

Old Raspy can be hoppy fresh, but I like mine with a little age on it. I usually buy some and let it sit a few months, then enjoy it.

Color me inspired... Tonight I will sample both ET Yin&Yang and Hoppin Frog Black & Tan... To report back tomorrow!

I have been seriously loving the Black IPAs lately. Some of my faves are Uinta Dubhe, Carton Epitome (WOW!), and Founders Dark Penance. For a hoppy stout, gotta be Pipeworks Closer Encounter. And of course both the stone SSR and 15 get 5 stars!

I'd be inclined to agree but I was trying to address the OP's question.

    Cheers!

If you're not in WI, you won't be able to get New Glarus, but Lakefront distributes to other states.

Founders Black Rye instantly came to mind when I read the first post, definitely one to try.
