DIPAs. IPAs just don't move the needle any more.

As far as taste, I love the GOOD 2IPA's such as enjoy by, Dirtwolf, The Calling, Ruination, Hopslam, JuJu, but if I want to not get wrecked, I will take a few good single IPA's. I just decided to crack open an Oskar Blue's IPA instead of the Enjoy-by due to ABV...

I guess I am selfish I like both regular IPAs aka Deschutes Inversion, Ballast Point Sculpin etc which I drink during the work week BUT on the weekends I will reach for my Stone Ruination 2.0 , Avery Maharaja , Ballast Point Dorado etc . Life is short so enjoy the best of both IPA worlds.

Dipa. But I'm talking HT, Abrasive, HF Ephraim or JuJu territory here. Clearly some of the best of the best. There's a few IPAs I love too, but they're not quite as forgiving a style, but Trillium, Susan, Lawson's, Headhunter are phenomenal.

5 or so years ago, I didn't even enjoy many IPAs. Then I learned to enjoy them, them absolutely love them. But Double IPAs were still gross and I couldn't even imagine trying a triple. Then I slowly learned to love Double IPAs, and then fastforward today and my preference in Triple IPAs (10%+), and I'm certainly much more likely to be drinking a double IPA than a single. Pliny the younger and Exponential Hoppiness are probably my two favorite brews of all time, and they both are Triples!
