I had gotten the Sam Adams deconstructed pack this early summer. I really liked the Mosaic type hops recipe. Is there any regularly available brand that has a IPA thats made primarily with Mosaic hops? Loved the pineapple/mango taste that the Mosaic hops gave that brew. Thanks in advance. I asked Sam Adams and they said as of now they didnt plan to release the Mosaic as a stand alone.

I guess id go for just about any type/style of beer with the Mosaic in it as a bigger part of the taste.

Terrapin Mosaic. Not sure where you are in Pa but I have seen it many times at Wegmans.

Sadly you missed out on Southern Tier 2XOne released this spring. Maybe you can still find some, but it won't be fresh.

Don't know if Stone Ruinten has mosaic in it, but it is an absolute grapefruit bomb (and a delicious one at that)

I just had a Blue Point Mosaic Session IPA. Even a few months after bottling it had lots of grapefruity hop flavor with modest bitterness. Also had the oddly pleasant overtones of gummybears; that distinctive background taste all gelatin-based gummy candies have. Mosaic is probably next to simcoe in my favorite hop varietals.

Victory Hop Ranch, a seasonal in January. One of the best, IMO.

I thought it was Hop Ranch that had the mosaic hop taste.

Well in my experience with Mosaic hops, the ones I found enjoyable were these:
    • Deschutes - Fresh Squeezed
    • Sixpoint - Hi Res
    • Victory - DirtWolf
    • Victory - Hop Ranch
@CBennett I would also say try New Belgium's Rampant DIPA. It's hopped with Mosaic, Calypso and Centennial.

Fresh Squeezed was great, Hi Res was AMAZING, and I haven't had either of those victorys, but what's in Zombie Dust? I haven't had it either yet, but I feel like I remember reading that the type of hops used being in the mosaic/galaxy vein...

I just recently started drinking Bluepoint Brewery Mosaic IPA which is there session IPA. IMO it's better than Stone's and Founders Session IPAs.

the three folyds/half acre collab, annica, was fantastic and show cased the mosaic hop. not sure if we will see that again though. seems like it was too popular to not do again.

New Belgium Rampant is no DirtWolf, but it's a very solid DIPA for $8.99/6pk..

Was in Bend a few days ago, Crux has an imperial IPA with Mosaic, really really good. Half Hitch is the name, picked up a few bottles right off their old school bottling line.

I believe New Belgium Accumulation was all or mostly Mosaic. One of the better seasonals I've had from them.
