    Would it make you feel better or worse if I said I was also gonna pick up some gubna until I saw the canned on date was from the end of July (unfortunately it was July 2010)

    Well I'll say if you picked up Gubna instead of fresh Jai Alai I wouldn't think nearly as highly of you ;-)

    I work all day tomorrow :slight_frown: I will drink some IPAs when I get home tonight (0100 hours). Technically IPA day. Cheers.

    I like the idea of IPA day. Perhaps we could have a thread/poll/bitchfest on hop-forward v. malt-forward IPAs? English v. American? Whilst drinking India Pale Ales, of course.

    and IPAs are just pale ales that have been pre-hopped in order to survive a long sea journey. Calculated to have the hops fade away by the time it reached the outposts in India.

    That's what the holiday's about, right? The newest batch is arriving from India to the Olympics tomorrow in order to serve Prince Charles the finest of IPAs whilst he watches fouled-up badminton.

    I had no idea there was an IPA day. Guess I'll celebrate by go down to Tribes and getting some Stone Double Dry Hopped Ruination on tap. Possibly follow it with a Devil Dancer there...

    Found some Surly Furious in Washington, DC, canned on July 13, never had it before but will as soon as I get home from work, can't wait!
