Wicked Weed cranks out possibly the best IPAs in either of the Carolinas, on top of making the best sour and funky beers in the southeast! Freak of Nature is pretty good and their one off/rotating IPAs that they constantly have changing, are absolutely fabulous. They produce a wide variety of IPAs instead of pigeon holing themselves into one style like most breweries. Today I had a West Coast IPA, an East Coast IPA, a New Zealand hopped IPA and a near Northeast IPA that would have all been towards the top of IPA pack where they would have originally been produced.

And of course the best Upstate SC local IPA can always be found in my homebrew fridge...there's usually 2 or 3 on tap

Monmouth Cnty., New Jersey - where I grew up - has Kane and Carton. The make fairly solid IPA's...about as good as most places.

Athen, GA's Creature Comforts's Tropicalia is hands down the best IPA coming out of the Georgia and is one of the best IPAs I've had a chance to drink. Orpheus's DIPA, Transmigration of Souls, sells even quicker due to rarity despite not being a top tier DIPA.

Both are 2 of Georgia's best beers, by far!

I just moved to Denver from TN and I'm quickly realizing what you mean. Haven't tried Superpower yet, but Fermaentra near DU puts out a pretty damn good DIPA called Archfiend. Also, Odell's IPA is pretty stellar.

Liquid nitrogen shattered Fresh Hop Simcoe from Breakside...that is all. Gives me that "just admit to yourself that it's the best beer you ever had" stroke.
