They moved into Houston first part of this month, or end of last month in kegs. They will be available on shelves in march I believe

Was in Dallas/Ft Worth last weekend for Cowtown 50K and really enjoyed Celestial. Nice taproom and some of the best beer in the city. Double Stars, Andromeda, and Apollo 11 were on point. Wasn’t impressed with Turning Point. Didn’t feel anything about their IPAs stood out.

I was in Dallas a few weeks ago and had the same impression at Turning Point. I tried several of their IPAs and could't get excited about any of them. The following week I was in Phoenix and got a chance to try some IPAs from Pueblo Vida - now that's the real deal.

Just visited a couple of breweries in Dallas today and must say the Noble Rey was quite impressive and just released a NE IPA that I thought was a great representation of the style and quite good. The NE IPA hasn't even been named yet, just known as small batch # .

I think these guys filed for bankruptcy recently.

Made a return trip to Dallas this week and went to Celestial last night. Really enjoyed their Electromagnetism as well as a few other IPAs. Based on my limited experience (one night at Turning Point and one night at Celestial), my impression was that Celestial is way ahead of Turning Point in the NE IPA category.

This weekend I tried the latest batch of New Main Brewing's hazy IPA, Tip-o-Tex. It was quite good.
Fruity. Good body. Sweet. Then I had fruity hop burps going into the evening.

I didn't think the previous batches were very good but this one matched my expectations of the style.

In response to your “Texas can’t make good hazy NEIPAs” comment, you need to try Spindletap. Seriously

Regarding some of the above comments, Ghost in the Machine is available in stores and at bars in Houston.
Also, Yellow Rose is right up there with it. Also, as previously mentioned by others, I typically don't by Yellow Rose packs, as it is a beer I like to get while out and on draft.

Some of the other top Texas IPA's I think are: Diamonds in my Mouth (Spindletap), DDH IPA Series 8 (Tupps Brewery), Spindletap's other IPA's (Five % Tint - very sessionable, Faded, Hop Gusher), 4^2 (Four Squared) (Real Ale), Citramendous (Great Heights Brewing), Mosaic IPA (Community Beer), and Art Car IPA (Saint Arnold).

For me, Turning Point's triple IPA options are outstanding but their milkshake IPA's are starting to wane off. Used to buy any and everything they produced, now I am particular.

I’d replace that with Series 9 of both the DDH single & double IPAs
Heard series 10 is great as well, but being in Houston I can’t get it unless I venture up to McKinney..

Diamonds and Heavy Hands are my favorite Spindletap’s. I think HH was last week’s release? I didn’t get it obviously, I don’t pre-buy them anymore because as someone else said earlier, their I/IPA portfolio is pretty big, but the distinction is minimal.

Besides Spindletap... my favorite breweries in Houston are:
    Baileson
    Great Heights
    Sigma
    Under the Radar
    Holler
    Platypus

I'd call out Baileson, Great Heights, and Holler as the stand-outs from your list.
