I like mine with CO2, but after having a palate wrecker on Cask at Hamiltons this weekend. Slowly moving up the board for me

I'm with you on this. One of my local breweries does cask Wednesdays, and occasionally they do a dry-hopped version of their already good IPA. That's always a good time.

I've never had an IPA on nitro and I can't say I'd be very inclined to try one even if I found it somewhere. I do love the texture and look of a nitro pour but I even prefer stouts on CO2. The flavors are always more vibrant on the standard pour. Cask and CO2 are more of a toss up for me. I've had IPAs that were better on the gravity pull and others that were better out of the keg. I guess just for overall prevalence I'd have to say CO2 wins for me.

i'll definitely go with CO2, although there's been a few times where i really enjoyed an ipa on cask.

+1 more for CO2. I don't care for the others since they kind of take the "edge" off of the flavor for me.

I like carbonation so CO2. I tried an IPA on nitro and it was alright but I don't think I would go for it again. Never tried IPAs on cask though.

Draft, bottle, or cask. Freshness is the thing I care most about. I don't think I gave had an IPA on nitro - doesn't sound fitting of the style (maybe the right IIPA would be good on nitro, not sure)

I've enjoyed IPA's all three ways. You just don't see many on nitro around here though.

CO2 for me. I've had a few on cask and it just doesn't do it for me.

Co2 or cask, depending on the beer. As others mentioned, fuller-bodied IPAs tend to benefit from a bit more carbonation, but give me a nice dry beer like Double Mountain Vaporizer on cask and I'm a happy man.

Nitro? More like Nite-NO! Amirite? Save that for the dark side of brews, it's Co2 or bust for IPAs

Co2 only for me. I can do Cask and no thanks for Nitro

Depends on the IPA. There are some English IPAs which are incredible on cask. For American IPAs, I tend to prefer CO2 and occasionally cask.

Exactly. I think that the high hop rates of American IPAs need them to be on CO2. You lose that on cask and destroy it on nitro. That being said, English IPAs with the lower hopping rate are just fantastic on cask. I love a good one on nitro too. The experience on nitro is completely different however. I love Berkshire Lost Sailor on nitro (as well as cask) but I would never want a Green Flash West Coast IPA on anything but CO2.

I am a new fan of Nitro IPAs. It makes the hops juicy. The cascading bubbles are mesmerizing, and the creamy head texture is enjoyable. (I had a Boulder Mojo Nitro from the tap at Yard House).

I've had a few good ones on cask, but co2 is usually the my preferred option. Many times I've just either seen the cask mishandled or old

IMO, @Longstaff wins the Gold Medal with his post of: "CO2 - unless they are going to stuff the cask full of hops."

    Cheers to Longstaff!

CO2. It does the best job of delivering the hop aroma.

CO2. Nitro IPA is worthless. Cask is okay but prefer CO2 by far.

    cask for lower abv offerings.
I would like to try seahag on nitro, that could be interesting. maybe lunch too.
HT on nitro would not work, imo.

co2 is fine for the most part.
