HT lasts a long time, I'd think Torpedo would as well, that kinda style at least. Worst- Pliny, Zombie Dust, Citra prevelant dry hopped IPAs, things along that line. Cans better than bottles, kept cold better than room temp. Quite a few variables.

I agree. Also, if the beer was bottled or fermented with Brett which scavenged the remaining O2 introduced during bottling. They tend to have an amazing shelf life. That's more of a cellaring thing though.

Have a couple Hopslams from this year from a trade that fell through that I've been holding onto to see what happened. Hoping to find the same.

Mars I was not impressed with off the bat, but that may have been an issue of storage before I bought it. I still have 1 left as well, so will be interesting to see what that's turned into.

Interesting info on longevity based on hops used. I guess I should have figured that would play a role, but never really occurred to me before. I always assumed it was packaging and storage more than anything. Weyerbacher Double Simcoe is another one that I've found to fade fast now that I think about it, so I guess the Simcoe part would make sense.

Sculpin falls off fast. Had one with a couple months on it, tasted like the goose island ipa I lost in the fridge for a year... cardboard soaked in grapefruit juice.

    The best: Anything Sierra Nevada.

The worst: IMHO anything hoppy Lagunitas & Sculpin.

Golden Road Wolf among Weeds, even after hot shipping to Australia,
    tastes fresher than local beers.
