Apparently the guy who compiled the list has not updated in a while.

When breweries get big enough to afford a lab, the numbers come back to reality. Look up the Founders Devil Dancer number and the Shorts number on their website.

Kind of in the eye of the Brewers description category. It drinks like an IPA, leaving off the India part is no concequence as they're all pale ales. Lots of times you have to look at the abv line to see where some thresholds are I suppose. Kai Alai

Perceived bitterness and Ibu for my palate can be quite different. I find Session IPAs to be painfully bitter, not a clue what the ibus are right there. I think Torpedo is quite bitter, I don't find Two Hearted all that bitter.

I prefer my dryPA @ 6ish% Abv & 60ish IBUs. Think Pallet Jack, Wanderlust, et al. Creeping into the 70s & 80s tends to push the profile off the palate quickly for a resinous linger. Vicious Mosquito from Sunriver does well to put the hops right on top of the malt before the 70 destroys the tastebuds (7% ABV). Bigger malt & ABV should naturally be near 100, just to get a bitter finish from a huge beer.
