IPAs with vanilla?

    I can see it being pretty good with the fruitier varieties of hops. Make them almost like creamsicle ipas. Congress St. from Trillium reminds me of orange juice to begin with so adding vanilla might make sense.

    Pine, resin and vanilla though.... I don't know about that.

    That was kind of my reaction when Tired Hands posted the description, but it was a great beer.

    Gross, just gross. Breakside did a coconut IPA w/ vanilla. Not good. Stout/porter material.

    Dreamiscle by Pipeworks is very good. It's an IPA with oranges and vanilla.

    Stone makes a variant of their Go-To ipa with vanilla beans and lemon, not really a fan because it's a hop bomb as a base beer. But after seeing this I want to try the tired hands, seems like session ipas have a lot of room to mix up.
